Police: Chambersburg man attacked, tied up woman in her home

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

An 18-year-old Franklin County man has been jailed on charges he broke into a woman's home and attacked her.

Brandon Sanchez, of Chambersburg, went into the home on Nolts Drive in Greene Township around midnight Tuesday through an unlocked window, then used tape to bind the 19-year-old woman's hands and feet, then left the home without taking anything, according to state police.

The victim freed herself and called 911. She had bruises and minor cuts as a result of the attack, police said.

Sanchez was charged with burglary, kidnapping, and simple assault. He was being held in the Franklin County Jail on $100,000 bail.
