Richmond, VA - Governor McDonnell has released a new funding proposal that would show which roads in the state would get an overhaul if it's passed.
One of the projects would include extending the passenger rail to Roanoke, replacing a bridge on Interstate 81 over the New River in Montgomery County, and major interstate paving projects.
The $1,280,000 would be used for 158 highway projects in total.
