Danville, VA -- A Danville man was sentenced Tuesday for killing a three-year-old girl.
Shonta Barnhill-Sherrod will spend 25 years behind bars for felony murder as well as child abuse and neglect charges. He pleaded guilty last month to killing Teliajah Brown back in April.
An autopsy showed Brown died from blunt force trauma.
Brown's mother told ABC13 Barnhill-Sherrod was her boyfriend.
