Bedford Co., VA - Officials are responding to an accident in Forest where they say a woman was hit by a car Friday.
State police officials say a 32-year-old woman was standing at the Redbox on the Walgreens off 221 around 3:15 p.m. They say the driver of a parked pick-up truck went forward instead of reverse and pinned the woman against the Redbox.
She was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, but officials say they don't believe her injuries were life-threatening.
