DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a home invasion robbery where a 22-year-old man reported he was forced to the floor at gunpoint and restrained with a nylon belt.

Northern Lancaster County Regional police said the robbery was reported early Monday in the 1400 block of Furnace Hills Road in Clay Township.

The son of the home owners told officers he was sleeping on the couch and was awakened by two men who pointed a shotgun at his face.

He said that while he was tied up and his parents were asleep, the robbers searched the room and took several items including a video game system, a cell phone, wallet and cash, according to police.

The victim also reported that a small amount of marijuana and a "mini-bong" water pipe was stolen, police said.

He described the robbers as being 25-30 years old and wearing bandana masks and blue jumpsuits. They reportedly fled in a truck with a loud exhaust system.

Police said the victim was restrained for about 15 minutes until he was freed by his father.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department at (717) 733-0965.
