Jerry Rodriguez-Sanchez
Carlos A. Ramos-Lebron
LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
A man arrested in Lancaster is awaiting extradition to Puerto Rico on homicide charges.
Jerry Rodriguez-Sanchez, 22, was a passenger in a Mercury Mountaineer that was stopped Monday night in the 800 block of Manor Street for a stolen license plate, according to Lancaster police.
He is wanted in Guayama, Puerto Rico for a homicide that occurred in October 2012, police said.
The driver of the SUV, 26-year-old Tony Pesante, of Lancaster, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, police said.
Police said Rodriguez-Sanchez does not appear to be connected to Carlos A. Ramos-Lebron, who is being sought by Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers for a different homicide that occurred in Guayama in December.
Ramos-Lebron, 22, is still wanted and is not in custody.
