Resident interrupts burglary in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A resident returned home to find a burglar in the house, who then fled without taking anything.

Susquehanna Township Police are investigating the residential burglary that occurred on Sunday between 4 and 9 p.m.

The resident reported returning home and, upon entering the house, heard noises to the rear of the house. The resident left the scene and called police.

It was found that the intruders had entered the house and rummaged through several rooms. The burglar was apparently startled by the return of the resident and ended up not taking anything.
