Danville, VA - The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors is getting involved in the fight over bringing CT scanners to the county.
The supervisors are voting on a resolution that would be in support of Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) and Centra both getting a CT scanner.
Both got conditional approval from the state.
DRMC, however, sent a letter to the Virginia Department of Health challenging the decision. The letter claimed there were inaccuracies in Centra's request.
The board is voting Tuesday at a 5:30 p.m. meeting.
