Lynchburg, VA - Another CrossFit studio is coming to the Hill City. The downtown YMCA is now a fully licensed affiliate known as "CrossFit 7 Hills."
CrossFit is a high intensity class that focuses on varied movements such as jumping, weight lifting, gymnastics, cardio and more.
Instructors say the class can be modified to anyone's fitness level. The Jamerson Y is licensed as well. Until now, there was only one CrossFit affiliate in Lynchburg.
"I'm extremely excited. I compete in CrossFit it's a passion of mine, so to get it here where's I've already worked it's a huge blessing," said YMCA Fitness Coordinator Sean Archulet.
The grand opening is set for Monday, February 4th at 5:30 p.m. at the Downtown YMCA.
