Suspicious fire displaces 6 in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A suspicious fire in Harrisburg has displaced six people including five children.

The fire started shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday in an abandoned home along the 1900 block of Zarker Street. It's believed the people affected lived in a neighboring home.

An arson investigator was called out to the scene and an arson dog was sent into the home to search for accelerants. There's no word on the cause of the blaze.

The American Red Cross is assisting the people who were displaced.

There's no word if anyone was injured.
