HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police are investigating a case of invasion of privacy at a Salvation Army in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg.
Susquehanna Township Police were called to the Salvation Army on Tuesday at around 3:10 p.m. in response to a report of a man acting
suspiciously in the dressing rooms.
Officers were told that employees
had seen the man using a handheld mirror in an attempt to look at women changing in the dressing room area.
The male had
fled on foot when confronted about it, and then left the scene in a blue van.
Employees were
able to obtain the registration to the van, and police located it at
the owner's home.
Officers found the man, later identified as 62-year-old Gene S. Pryor of Harrisburg. He admitted to police that he had been trying to use a mirror to
view women as they undressed in the store. He also admitted
that he had done the same thing last week as well.
Pryor was arrested and charged with two counts of invasion of privacy. He
was released to receive a summons.
