DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police in Lancaster County have arrested one man and are looking for a second suspect in a home invasion robbery where a 22-year-old man reported he was forced
to the floor at gunpoint and restrained with a nylon belt.
David Figueroa, 25, of Lititz, was charged Wednesday with robbery, theft, unlawful restraint, and a firearms violation, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.
Figueroa was arrested in the morning at a home in the 200 block of West Burkholder Road in
Clay Township, where authorities said they found numerous firearms and evidence linking him to the robbery Monday in the 1400 block of Furnace Hills Road as well as a home invasion robbery reported to Manheim
Borough police Wednesday.
He faces additional charges in
the latest incident.
In the Furnace Hills Road incident, the son of the home owners told officers he was sleeping on the couch
and was awakened by two men who pointed a shotgun at his face.
He said that while he was tied up and his parents were asleep, the
robbers searched the room and took several items including a video game
system, a cell phone, wallet and cash, according to police.
The victim also reported that a small amount of
marijuana and a "mini-bong" water pipe was stolen, police said.
Police said the victim was restrained for about 15 minutes
until he was freed by his father.
