State lawmakers will hold a hearing in Philadelphia Thursday morning, focusing on Pennsylvania's controversial voter id law.
They are also set to discuss the possibility of having early in-person voting in the state.
The voter id law went into effect last March. On appeal, a judge suspended it for the November election. Legal proceedings will continue during the summer.
State Rep. Mike Sturla (D-Lancaster) will co-chair the hearing with State Rep. Vanessa Lowery-Brown (D-Philadelphia).
