HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Two drivers died in a wrong-way crash Monday morning on Interstate 283 in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
State police Trooper Robert Hicks said 53-year-old Marshall Black was driving a silver Hyundai Accent and for unknown reasons was traveling north in the southbound lanes near mile marker 1.1 when Black struck a Volkswagen Jetta head-on just after 6 a.m.
Hicks identified the driver of the Volkswagen as 59-year-old Mike Kelliher Sr., of Jonestown.
Neither car had any passengers, Hicks said.
Black was wearing a seatbelt, while Kelliher was not, according to police.
The southbound lanes reopened just after 9 a.m.
