A shooting incident in Manor Township, Lancaster County has been ruled a homicide.

Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni reported that the victim, 27-year-old Christopher Leonards, died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

Officers said his half-brother, 22-year-old James Leonards, may have been involved. Investigators are exploring the possibility that the shooting was justified.

The shooting was reportedly the result of a fight between the brothers in an Oak Road residence shared by the younger Leonards and his mother.
