MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -
The Pennsylvania Lottery is predicting a busy day for ticket retailers as players look to claim either a climbing Powerball jackpot or a record Cash 5 prize.
Lottery Executive Director Todd Rucci said the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night has reached $208 million, and the Cash 5 has reached an all-time high of $1.9 million.
Should no player hit tonight's Cash 5 jackpot, it will rise to at least $2 million. The prize has rolled seven times and has been growing since two tickets split the January 29 jackpot.
The previous Cash 5 record of $1.8 million in April 2008 was split between two
winning tickets.
