Bedford Co., VA - The Peaks of Otter Lodge should reopen for the summer season, after the National Park Service receives multiple bids from hospitality companies interested in running it.
The parkway landmark has been closed since November, when the contract with the previous operator expired.
The bid deadline for potential new management was Wednesday.
The park service will now select the best offer, with a goal of reopening Memorial Day weekend.
