Nor'easter to bring messy, wintry Friday - abc27 WHTM

Nor'Easter brings a glancing blow to South Central Pa

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

While New England will be hit the hardest, we'll still feel some impacts here in the Midstate. Here's the breakdown:

Friday 2-6am: Light snow/sleet develops. A coating of snow by the Friday morning commute.

Friday 8-5am: Light snow/sleet, mixing with rain south. Light, slushy accumulations.

Friday 5pm -Saturday 5am: Steady snow develops, most of our accumulation occurs. Turning blustery and colder Saturday morning. Total snowfall should average between 1-3 inches for most of the Midstate. However, northern Dauphin and parts of Lebanon and northern Lancaster counties could see up to 4 or 5 inches of snow, due to the closer proximity to the Nor'Easter.
