Posted: Updated:
COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM) -

A section of Route 30 was shut down for about an hour Thursday afternoon because of a brush fire in the area of the Wrights Ferry Bridge over the Susquehanna River.

The roadway has since reopened.

The westbound lanes of the highway were closed between Route 441 in Columbia and West Cool Springs Road in Hellam Township, York County.

A detour was in effect from around 2:20 p.m. until about 3:15 p.m.
