Rocky Mount - Jarod Williams poured in 28 points to lead G.W. past William Fleming 67-53 last night at Franklin County High School in a special one-game playoff for the Western Valley District regular season title.
The Eagles built an 18-point lead in the fourth quarter en route to the victory, their 19th this year against just two losses.
G.W. earns an automatic berth in the Northwest Region tournament and a first-round game in next week's WVD tourney against Franklin County. Fleming (14-8) will host Patrick Henry in the other first-round game.
