Elliottsburg man arrested after police chase

ICKESBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Perry County man is facing charges after he tried to get away from a state police trooper and rolled his pickup truck into a creek.

Devin Lowe, 20, of Elliottsburg, was charged with DUI and fleeing and eluding after the incident Thursday night, police said.

Lowe refused to stop for a traffic violation on Pleasant Valley Road in Centre Township and led troopers on a chase, police said.

He lost control and slid off Dunkleberger Road at one point, but continued to elude troopers until he reached the intersection of Erly and Foose Ridge roads in Saville Township, south of Ickesburg, where he crashed into the creek, police said.
