Police: 2 arrested for string of burglaries

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Authorities are charging a man and a woman following a string of burglaries in Lancaster County.

Early Monday morning police received reports of two burglaries in the area of Musser and Hayes Avenues in West Lampeter Township. Around that same time an officer was dispatched after receiving word of a person sleeping in a vehicle on Roslyn and Conestoga Avenues, which is in the same geographic location as the burglaries.

Upon arrival the officer found 19-year-old Krysten Buehler asleep in the driver's seat. Buehler told the officer that she was lost and tired, and she had pulled over to sleep.

During the course of the conversation it was revealed that Buehler had been accompanied by her boyfriend, 26-year-old Paul Linderman, who had gotten out of the vehicle earlier.

She then admitted to police that Linderman was responsible for the burglaries reported in the area.

During the subsequent investigation, Buehler told authorities that she had been helping her boyfriend break into houses and steal whatever he could in order to support their drug habit.

Officers also found a loaded gun in her possession.

Police determined that there were no less than seven burglaries reported in West Lampeter Township and two additional burglaries reported in the Southern Regional Police jurisdiction.

Linderman was later arrested in Chester County that night after he ditched a stolen SUV.

Buehler is in Lancaster County Prison on $250,000 bail, while Linderman is in Chester County Prison.
