Police filed charges against a woman they say forged the name of a former employee as an endorsement on a refund check.
According to a police investigation, 43-year-old Kathleen Skinner of New Holland committed forgery and theft by deception by forging her ex-employee's name on a check and then sending the check to her own address in the victim's name.
Officers say she then deposited the check into her business account.
The former employee found out about the check and contacted police.
On February 6 Skinner was interviewed by New Holland Police and admitted to the crime. She was then arraigned and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
