MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
After employees complained for a month about an overwhelming smell of gas, a liquor store in Mechanicsburg closed today, said spokeswoman Stacy Kriedeman.
Kriedeman, spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, said there are two HVAC units on top of the store and the odor of gas comes from one of them when the heat is on.
Kriedeman spoke with abc27 News after we received complaint about the odor. She said the PLCB rents the building at 6560 Carlisle Pike and that the landlord's contractor has been working on the issue daily.
The store was closed as a precaution, Kriedeman said.
