1 dead in Saturday car crash, fire

DOVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

One person is dead after an overnight crash in York County.

The coroner says a car went off the 3100 block of West Canal Road in Dover Township just after midnight and slammed into a tree. The car then burst into flames.

The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was severely burned and died at the scene.

An autopsy will be performed on Monday.
