HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Jonathan Monte Cornish, 55, Friday was charged with homicide in the bludgeoning death of 60-year-old Jose Vazquez in Harrisburg.

The Dauphin County Coroner said Vazquez was beaten to death with a hammer inside his home on the 1500 block of Vernon Street in Harrisburg Wednesday morning. Police say he had reportedly lived with Jose Vazquez for the past few days.

Vazquez was the second person murdered Harrisburg in 2013 as well as the second that week.
