LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 23-year-old Leola man was hospitalized for a gunshot wound to the back following an incident behind a Lancaster night club early Sunday, police said.

Police said officers had responded to a report of shots fired to the rear of the Bird's Nest, at 10 S. Prince Street, and found the victim in the 100 block of West Mifflin Street.

His wound was not life threatening, and he was not cooperative with investigators, police said.

Several people at the scene were questioned and released.

Police said a 21-year-old city man, Dana L. Johnson Jr., was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine after officers saw a bag of cocaine hanging out of his front pants pocket.

The investigation into the shooting is continuing.
