Police investigate attempted robbery, offer reward

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are offering a reward for information regarding an attempted robbery in Lancaster County.

On Friday at around 3:25 p.m. two young men approached a woman in the Giant parking lot on North Reservoir Street.

According to police, they knocked the woman down and tried to take her cell phone. They were unsuccessful. The two young men then fled on foot. They were last seen running south towards East Orange Street.

Authorities report that one of them was wearing a white puffy vest and jeans, and the other wore a dark coat and jeans.

Lancaster City police are offering a reward up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the attempted robbers.
