LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
Officials have identified a woman and a six-year-old girl
who were found dead after a four-alarm fire in a Lancaster row home.
Pauline Stone, 38, and her best friend's daughter, Leilani Roman, died in the fire early Monday in the 200 block of East Madison Street, authorities said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A man and a 13-year-old boy safely escaped the home after the fire began at around 4:30 a.m.
A
firefighter was seriously injured while battling the blaze. Lt. Andre
Kelley was transported to Lancaster General Hospital and then flown to
Crozer-Chester Medical Center near Philadelphia for treatment of second-degree
burns. He was listed in critical but stable condition.
Two other
firefighters were released from a
hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
