A York County man has been arrested on allegations he used on online chat room to sexually proposition what he believed was a teenage girl.
Joshua Martin, 32, of Wrightsville, was taken into custody February 13 at a Lancaster County hotel where he had arranged to meet the girl for sex, according to the state attorney general's office.
According to charging documents, Martin chatted online with an undercover agent from the attorney general's child predator unit who was posing as a 14-year-old girl and discussed in graphic detail the sex acts he wished to perform with her.
Martin has been charged with four counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
He was released after posting $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for February 21.
