HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police said they charged three people who were displaying realistic-looking BB guns and wearing masks near the Lebanon Middle School during dismissal Tuesday.

Andy Rivera-Zayas, 22, of Lebanon, and two 15-year-olds were charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct, city police said.

Rivera-Zayas was also charged with corruption of minors and sent to the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail. One of the juveniles was referred to Lebanon County juvenile probation and one was released.

Police said each of the defendants had a pistol-style BB gun that could easily be mistaken as a real firearm, and pulled the guns out of their pockets and displayed them while wearing the masks on the northwest corner of 8th and Church streets, which is adjacent to the middle school.

The majority of students had already left the school, but students and staff were still in the process of dismissal, police said.

Investigators said there is no indication, so far, that any of the defendants pointed the weapons at students or staff.
