Two Franklin Co. School Employees Charged in Murder-for-Hire Plot

Franklin Co., VA - Two Franklin County school employees have been charged in a murder-for-hire plot.

Angela Nolen, 47, has been arrested and charged with solicitation to commit murder.

The Sheriff's Office says Nolen paid an undercover agent $4,000 to kill her ex-husband, with the understanding that she would pay $4,000 after the job was done.

Another woman, Cathy Bennett, 37, was charged with helping Nolen find a hitman.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says the two women worked at Sontag Elementary School.

Both women are currently in jail.
