HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Just minutes before 5 p.m., Cameron Street reopened after being closed since last night due to a water main break.
For nearly 24 hours, authorities closed off Cameron Street between Herr and Forester streets. The break happened in front of CAT headquarters. Originally, city engineers said it would take two days to repair the break.
Last night, city engineers say they pinpointed the problem in a 12-inch main directly across
from the Goodwill Store. City Council Public Works chair Sandra Reid said no homes or
businesses are experiencing a disruption to water services.
