MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
West Trindle Road in Silver Spring Township was closed for more than three hours this morning while crews fought a two-alarm commercial fire.
No one was injured in the blaze that broke out at Starting Line Auto Body just before 7:35 a.m. today. New Kingstown Fire Chief Curt Hall said there was nothing suspicious about the fire and the state police fire marshal is on scene trying to determine a cause.
Hall said the fire was brought under control within 45 minutes of their arrival on scene. He said a lack of hydrants in the area meant all water had to be supplied by tankers.
The building at 1170 W Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg was unoccupied at the time.
