Police investigating fire in vacant house

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police are investigating a fire Friday morning that destroyed a vacant house in Adams County.

The fire started at around 6:25 a.m. on the second floor of the two-story house at 410 Belmont Road in Cumberland Township.

Damage was estimated at approximately $114,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Chambersburg at 717-264-5161 or Detective Stephen Higgs at the Cumberland Township Police Department at 717-334-3996, ext. 24.
