Home invasion robbery reported near Ickesburg

State police in Perry County are investigating a report of a home invasion robbery in which the victim was held down and threatened while the house was ransacked.

The victim reported that a woman knocked on the door early Monday and as the victim spoke to her, a man appeared and assaulted the victim, police said.

A firearm, money and jewelry was stolen from the home in the first block of Mauk Drive in Saville Township, police said.
