CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

One person was displaced following a one-alarm house fire in Chambersburg.

Crews arrived at the home in the 200 block of North Main Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Fire Chief William Fitzgerald of the Chambersburg Fire Department said that the fire started on the second floor of the residence.

"Flames and smoke were coming out of the second floor window when the first units arrived on the scene shortly after the 2:25 p.m. dispatch," he reported.

The blaze was brought under control in about 10 minutes.

The fire marshal was on-scene investigating the cause of the fire.
