HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for a missing 65-year-old Harrisburg man.

Officers found Franklin McDonald's car in an office building parking lot in the 700 block of North Front Street. They searched from the Riverfront Park to the area below the Dock Street Dam in hopes of finding McDonald, but they were unable to locate him.

Later in the day a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter and a small airplane searched the Susquehanna River from north of the Harvey Taylor Bridge to well past the dam, also with negative results.

McDonald is described as 5'7" tall, 140 lbs., with a thin build and a graying beard. He was last seen wearing a green army-style jacket and glasses. He lives in suburban Harrisburg.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information may contact police at 717-255-3114.
