Waynesboro man injured in pedestrian crash

WAYNESBORO, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Waynesboro man was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing East Second Street in the borough Tuesday night.

Alan Moats was transported to Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown and was listed in critical condition, according to Waynesboro Police Chief James Sourbier.

Police said Moats was crossing East Second at the intersection of Enterprise Avenue when he was struck at 8:38 p.m.

Sourbier identified the driver of the vehicle as John Boyd, also of Waynesboro, and said the investigation is continuing.
