HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Update: North 7th Street between Radnor and Schuylkill Streets has reopened.
A section of North 7th Street in Harrisburg has been shut down because of a broken fire line.
North 7th is closed completely between Radnor and Schuylkill Streets.
Officials said the break, which was found just before 9 a.m., involves a six-inch pipe that is not a city water main, but used for a fire line to the nearby D&H Distributing Company
The Office of Public Works said two buildings on the 2500 block of 7th Street were without water this morning. Mayor Linda Thompson said the water was restored a short time later after officials determined where the break took place.
Thompson said there is no need for a boil water advisory.
There was no word on when the repairs would be finished and the street would reopen.
