LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police in Lancaster County said someone took a skid loader from a construction site and used the piece of machinery to go on a vandalism spree.
The skid loader was driven from the Pinetown covered bridge construction site on Bridge Road in East Lampeter Township between the overnight hours between Tuesday and Wednesday, according to township police.
The loader was then used to knock down traffic control signs on Bridge Road, Mondale Road, Hunsecker Road, Pine Drive, and New Holland Pike, police said.
A total of 10 traffic control and hazard signs were pushed to the ground, including stop signs and curve ahead signs.
The skid loader was then driven back to the construction site and was not damaged, police said.
A damage estimate was not immediately available, and police said no accidents were reported as a result of the vandalism.
