Windsor J. Morda
CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police in Cumberland County said they are searching for a man who was found hiding in the attic of his ex-girlfriend's home.
Windsor J. Morda, 27, is wanted on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, simple assault and harassment, according to North Middleton Township police.
Officers on Tuesday evening responded to the ex-girlfriend's residence, where she reported that she came home and was being harassed by Morda by text messages, police said.
She then found an attic hatch ajar and discovered Morda in the crawl space with a hunting knife, police said.
Morda fled the home before police arrived, but continued to harass his ex-girlfriend while officers were on the scene, authorities said.
Morda has a last known address in the first block of White Oak Drive in Carlisle. He is currently out on bail on a separate assault against the same victim, police said.
The victim is staying at another place until Morda is caught and is in fear for her safety, police said.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call North Middleton Township police at (717) 243-7910.
