CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
The eastbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike have reopened after being closed for over eight hours because of a tractor-trailer fire Wednesday morning.
The road was closed eastbound between Carlisle and Breezewood. The accident took place around 2:20 a.m. The fire was at mile marker 207, just past the Blue Mountain Service Plaza.
Police said the rig was carrying used tires.
