LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster man was injured when he crashed a stolen SUV during a police chase early Thursday, according to police.

East Lampeter Township police said 45-year-old Hector Rosa-Lebron was being treated at Lancaster General Hospital, and has been charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding, DUI, and numerous traffic violations.

Rosa-Lebron refused to stop for an officer who saw the GMC Yukon leaving the parking lot of the Knight's Inn in the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway East just after 3 a.m., police said.

The Yukon had been reported stolen from a discovered burglary in Lancaster City on Tuesday, police said.

The resulting pursuit continued south into West Lampeter Township, where officers deployed spike strips, but Rosa-Lebron continued to flee until he lost control in the 1800 block of Rockvale Road and crashed into a tree in a front yard, police said.

A passenger in the GMC, 47-year-old Daniel Charbonneau, of Lititz, was also transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in the crash. He was later released.
