LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Lancaster County have filed burglary charges against a 14-year-old Manheim Township boy accused of breaking into two homes.

The teen was arrested early Wednesday after he stole loose change from an unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block of Coventry Road, and was later charged with the burglaries on the same block earlier in the month, township police said.

Electronics were stolen from one of the homes and a debit card was taken from the second home and later used, police said.

He was charged with burglary, three counts of criminal conspiracy, and three counts of theft before he was committed to the Youth Intervention Center.

Charges were also filed against a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old from the township for their involvement in the home burglary where electronics were stolen, police said.

Both were charged with burglary, theft, criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen property. The 17-year-old was additionally charged making a false statement to police.
