An 18-year-old New Holland man was arrested after he threatened to kill the juvenile mother of his child and the young woman's sister, according to borough police.
Richard Anthony Steigerwalt was taken into custody Thursday afternoon following the altercation in a convenience store parking lot in the 300 block of W. Main Street, police said.
Police said Steigerwalt and his child's mother got into a verbal argument that turned into a shoving match during a child custody exchange.
When the 20-year-old sister of the juvenile mother got involved in the fight, police said Steigerwalt put a handgun to her head and threatened to kill both young women.
He was charged with two counts each of terroristic threats and simple assault.
