EMIGSVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
An Airville woman died after a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Manchester Township.
Northern York County Regional police said 44-year-old Kelly Lynn Schurtz was driving a pickup truck that collided with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Emig Road and Mundis Race Road near Emigsville.
Authorities said the tractor-trailer had nearly cleared the intersection when Schurtz entered the roadway from Mundis Race Road and struck the rig's rear tires at around 8:45 a.m.
Schurtz was ejected as the pickup truck spun in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, 29-year-old James Ginter of New Providence, was not injured.
The roadway in the area was closed until 11 a.m.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
