MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police say 29-year-old Carl Biter and 28-year-old David Cucullo are the men responsible for the "bottle bombs" incident in Middletown last week.

Biter, of North Union Street, and Cucullo, of Lawrence Street, are both facing multiple charges including reckless endangerment, arson with explosive, criminal mischief, possessing explosive material and criminal conspiracy.

Cucullo was arrested over the weekend. He was arraigned and committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Biter is expected to be arraigned on Monday afternoon.

Last Thursday police responded to the 200 block of North Union Street  of Middletown following reports of loud explosions.

They discovered five homemade bottle bombs. Four had gone off, and the last one was detonated by the hazardous devices unit.

Three other devices were found on East Roosevelt Street.

The cases will be prosecuted in Dauphin County Court by District Attorney Ed Marsico's office.
