With the southern part of our area expected at least some snow, PennDOT officials said they are ready.
The plows are prepped and the name of the game Tuesday was pre-treating roadways with salt brine. PennDOT is keeping a close eye on the storm in York. They are preparing for whatever Mother Nature may bring.
"Right now its kind of a little bit confusing for us. We are getting so many different totals, which way it is going to come, how high it is going to be. So what we just do is we prepare for the worst," Gary Ishman, assistant York County maintenance manager with PennDOT said.
The high winds from the storm is also a cause for concern. Snow drifts make keeping roads clear and safe tough.
