Lynchburg, VA - Police are investigating after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted in her Lynchburg home.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Liggates Road at around 9 p.m. Monday night.
The woman told them a man entered her home, the two had a physical altercation and the man then raped her.
The suspect was last seen headed on foot towards St. Cloud Avenue.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
